Partner terms

1. Joining

You apply at esapass.com/partners and we decide whether to approve you. We may decline or end any partnership at any time. Partners must be at least 18.

2. Your link and your audience's discount

You get a personal link (esapass.com/r/your-word). A purchase counts as yours when the buyer opened your link within the 30 days before buying and no other partner's link since. Buyers who come through your link get 10% off, unless we agree another rate with you in writing. Purchases you make yourself, or for your own pets, earn nothing.

3. Commission

You earn 10% of what the buyer actually paid, after discounts and before taxes, unless we agree another rate in writing. Refunds and chargebacks reduce or cancel the commission on that sale. A commission is held for 30 days after the purchase, the length of our money-back guarantee, and is then owed. Changes to your rate apply to sales after the change.

4. Payment

We pay what is owed once a month by PayPal or Wise to the address you give us. You are responsible for your own taxes. We may ask for the tax information the law requires before paying, and may hold payment until we have it.

5. Honest promotion

Every post, video, story or page that mentions ESA Pass must say clearly that you earn from it, for example "#ad" or "I earn a commission from this link", as the U.S. Federal Trade Commission requires. Speak only from your own honest experience.

ESA Pass sells a convenience kit: a certificate, a wallet card and a listing on our verification page. No official ESA registry exists, including ours. You must never describe the kit as, or suggest it is:

  • an ESA letter, or a substitute for a letter from a licensed health professional;
  • a legal document, or an official, government or required registration or certification;
  • something that grants rights to housing, air travel, public access or fee waivers;
  • a service animal credential.

Do not make medical or legal claims, and do not use our name or logo in a way that suggests you speak for us.

6. Ways of promoting that are not allowed

  • Paid search ads on ESA Pass, ESA Pass, esapass or misspellings of them, and ads that send people straight to our site.
  • Coupon, deal, cashback and voucher sites.
  • Unsolicited email, messages or comments, and anything that sets our cookie without a real click.
  • Paying or rewarding people to buy through your link.

7. If the rules are broken

We may pause or end a partnership that breaks these terms, remove commission on sales that came from the breach, and ask you to take posts down. Commissions earned honestly before the partnership ended are still paid.

8. Changes

We may change these terms. We'll email you before a change affects you; continuing to share your link after it takes effect means you accept it.
