What you get for your dog

A credit-card-sized ID card with your dog's photo, name, breed and your name as handler, plus a QR code that opens your dog's verification page. A letter-size Certificate of Registration ready to frame. Both arrive as print-ready PDFs, or printed and laminated in the mail with the Complete Kit.

The verification page shows your dog's name, species and breed, your city and state, the registration date and whether the listing is active. Nothing else about you.

A good photo makes the card

Use a well-lit photo of your dog's face, taken at eye level, with a plain background. Phone photos work well. You see the card build itself as you type, so you can swap the photo before you pay, and you can replace it free from your kit page later.

Emotional support dog or service dog?

They are different things. A service dog is trained to perform specific tasks for a person with a disability and has public-access rights under the ADA. An emotional support dog provides comfort by being there, and its rights, mainly in housing, come from a letter from a licensed health professional, not from a registration.

A registration card doesn't make a dog a service dog, and we don't sell service dog registrations.

Questions people ask

Do I need to register my emotional support dog?
No. No government keeps an ESA registry, and registering is never legally required. Ours is a private registration: a record of your pet and you, with a number anyone can look up.
Will my landlord have to accept the card?
No. A registration is not an ESA letter. Under the Fair Housing Act, what a housing provider may ask for is a letter from a licensed health professional who knows you. We don't write those. Many people carry a card alongside their letter for everyday convenience.
Can I register more than one dog?
Yes. Each dog gets its own registration, number and card. After your first kit you'll see an offer for your next pet.
Do you sell vests or tags?
The Works bundle adds a harness vest to the Complete Kit. Vests and tags are optional and no law requires them.
Can I change the photo later?
Yes, free, from your kit page. Your PDFs are regenerated with the new photo.
