What ESA registration actually is

Registration is a record. It ties your animal, its photo and your name to a unique number, and puts that number on a page anyone can check. You get the card for your wallet and a certificate for your wall.

It is not a government list, and there is no official ESA registry anywhere in the U.S. Any site that says otherwise is selling you a story. What we sell is a well-made card and certificate, honestly described.

Why people register anyway

A card answers the question before anyone asks it. At a front desk, with a new neighbor or at the vet, a card with your pet's photo and a number that checks out is quicker than an explanation.

It also gives your animal a record of its own: name, species, breed, birthday and photo in one place, with a verification page you can share.

What it doesn't do

A card doesn't create housing rights. Under the Fair Housing Act, a housing provider may ask for a letter from a licensed health professional who knows you, and a registration doesn't replace it.

Airlines have treated emotional support animals as pets since 2021. A card won't change that, and we won't tell you otherwise.

Questions people ask

Is ESA registration required?
No. No government keeps an ESA registry, and registering is never legally required. Ours is a private registration: a record of your pet and you, with a number anyone can look up.
Does registration make my pet an emotional support animal?
No. A registration is not an ESA letter. Under the Fair Housing Act, what a housing provider may ask for is a letter from a licensed health professional who knows you. We don't write those. Many people carry a card alongside their letter for everyday convenience.
Which animals can I register?
Dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles and other household companions. One registration per animal.
How long does it take?
About five minutes. The PDFs are generated the moment payment confirms and arrive by email, usually within a minute.
How long does it last?
Your card and certificate never expire. The listing on the verification page runs 12 months, and renewing it is up to you.
